Barnegat Bay Sailing School is an approved training facility of the American Sailing Association (ASA). We are located at Cedar Creek Sailing Center in Bayville, New Jersey. Our constant sea breezes, along with the calm waters of Barnegat Bay, make this the ideal setting for learning to sail or just enjoying a carefree cruise.
Barnegat Bay Sailing School is a small, highly personalized sailing school offering introductory sailing lessons in a safe and enjoyable atmosphere. Our course offerings are designed specifically to make sailing accessible to everyone. That is why at Barnegat Bay Sailing School our Basic Keelboat Certification Course is available as a coed program, a women teaching women program, or as a junior sailors program.
When the sailing instruction ends and the practice begins, Barnegat Bay Sailing School will be right by your side. All ASA graduates are offered sailboat rentals to practice their newly acquired sailing skills, either on their own or accompanied by an instructor. Our rental sailboats are professionally maintained and Coast Guard approved, earning us the ASA Gold Standard Rating.
Barnegat Bay Sailing School also offers personalized cruises where you can experience the beauty of Barnegat Bay under sail. You can lend a hand, take the helm, or just relax and enjoy a carefree cruise aboard the 30 foot sailing sloop Margarita.
